OHSAA Winter Sports Mandatory Player/Parent Meeting
Thursday, November 12 at 7pm
Bay Athletics YouTube Channel
Any athlete and parent that did not attend the fall meeting in August must attend in order to participate in a winter sport.
Per OHSAA guidelines, all athletes and parents are required to attend a meeting at least once per school year. This meeting will NOT be in person.
We will focus mainly on the re-opening of practices and what that looks like including the safety protocols. We will also cover some key areas of the activities handbook as it relates to the code of conduct. Hilary Hewkin, Bay Athletics Trainer, will discuss the new training room and athlete care protocols. Finally, a member of the Bay Rockets Association President will talk briefly about the organization and how they support our student athletes and families. My plan is to stick to a 1 hour time limit.
Athletes and parents will be asked to attend the meeting live. However, if you cannot attend the live meeting, you will be able to view it on your own. We will utilize FinalForms where both the athlete and parent will sign off indicating they have viewed the meeting.
All winter athletes and parents must view the presentation and sign a document in their FinalForms account indicating they have viewed the presentation.
Again, this meeting will take place for BHS winter athletes and parents on Thursday, November 12 at 7pm on the Bay Athletics YouTube Channel.
