Congratulations to the Bay High Boys Track team for finishing 2nd in the Great Lakes Conference Meet hosted at Bay High School.

Scoring for the Rockets:
Conference Champion 4×800 team of Sam Coe, Sam Nortz, Ivan Slyepkan and Khaled Hamil with a time of 8:05.72

Jared Riess finished 3rd in the 100 with a time of 11.72

4×200 team of Jared Riess, Hudson Cisneros, Darren Vesely and Sam Warren finished 3rd with a time of 1:36.57

In the 1600 meter run Khaled Hamil finished 2nd with a time of 4:34.62 and Sam Coe finished 3rd with a time of 4:37.13

4×100 team of Hudson Cisneros, Jacob Gaudino, Nick Barenstecher, and Sam Warren finished 5th with a time of 47.70

Darren Vesely finished 3rd in the 400 with a time of 54.39

Hudson finsihed 8th in the 300M Hurdles with a time of 46.27

In the 800 we have a Conference Champion by the name of Ivan Slypekan who won with a time of 2:00.47 and Sam Nortz finished 2nd with a time of 2:02.56

In the 200 Jared Riess finished 2nd with a time of 23.65.

In the 3200 Meter Run Will Warren finished 4th with a time of 10:24.21 and Everest McKenna finished 6th with a time of 10:31.80

The Boys 4×400 team of Sam Nortz, Ivan Slyepkan, Daren Vesely and Zak Hamil finished 2nd with a time of 3:36.38

In High Jump Sam Warren finished 7th with a jump of 5’2″

In Boys Pole Vault Matt Leamon finished 2nd with a jump of 11’6″ and Billy Hardebeck finished 6th with a jump of 8’6″

Long Jump wise Jared Riess finished 2nd with a jump of 20’6″ and Hudson Cisneros finished 6th with a jump of 19’3″

Colton Passarell finished 6th in discus with a throw of 110’4″.

Way to go Rockets. This is the highest finish the Boys track team has had in the GLC in conference history.
